Sealed suppressors like the ERC Suppressor don’t need much in the way of cleaning. The high-pressure buildup inside the suppressor blasts away most of the fouling with each consecutive shot. At most, you are left with a thin amount of fouling at any given time, but physics dictates that fouling just doesn’t have a chance to accumulate. Aside from using rimfire calibers where fouling is an issue, a sealed suppressor like the ERC Suppressor is largely self cleaning.
Sealed suppressors can last many thousands of rounds before they wear out. The odds are you will replace multiple barrels before you need to replace your suppressor.
We recommend using your cleaning kit to bush the borehole of your ERC Suppressor after each shooting session to remove any burnt debris. Use compressed air to blow out any loose particles after brushing the borehole of your suppressor.
